Multi-Antivirus Scanner is a feature designed for testing your startup files by several antiviruses at the same time. Probably your antivirus doesn't detect some viruses or you didn't update your antiviral database. Probably you have no antivirus at all!
Multi-Antivirus Scanner will help you to check your files quickly using on-line service VirusTotal.
RegRun Multi-Antivirus Scanner is the file RegRunInfo.exe included to the RegRun Security Suite and Reanimator.
Getting started
Open RegRun Start Control, after that click on the Virus Scan.
Choose "On-line Multi Antivirus Scan".
After finishing scanning you can upload unknown files for scanning on-line.
Click on the "Upload" link.
After finishing upload files you must wait several minutes while the scan will be complete. RegRunInfo automatically detects the finishing scan of each file but if you are interested you can double click on the file in the list and view the scanning report in your web browser.
How does it work?
RegRunInfo analyzes detailed system report made by RegRun. RegRunInfo creates the file list internally and checks it on-line.
RegRunInfo uses two databases for minimizing network traffic: Greatis database and User database.
Greatis Database is stored in the regruninfo.db located in the RegRun Suite folder. It contains information about well-known good files included to the Windows. Greatis Database updates with new version of RegRun.
User database is located All Users\Documents\RegRunInfo\userinfo.db.
User Database contains information about files received on-line.
RegRunInfo scans files quickly and uses the minimum of network traffic.
