My PC had gotten a bad rootkit that my ISP antivirus software (powered by McAfee) could not detect, nor could fix.

Manual removal instructions:
ACTIVE.EXE is Trojan/Backdoor.
Kill the process ACTIVE.EXE and remove ACTIVE.EXE from Windows startup.
